Nº 13Your first visit
Your first visit,without surprises.
What actually happens from the moment you book until you walk out with a plan. Written because nobody should have to guess at the shape of a healthcare appointment.

Your first visit
From the moment you book, to the protocol in your hand.
01
Before · from home
Book the appointment.
Online booking or a phone call to our Albury rooms. We match you with the right initial appointment type — longer for complex histories — and confirm the cost before anything is charged.
02
Before · at your own pace
Complete the pre-visit forms.
You'll receive an intake pack by email — medical history, medications, symptom tracker. Filling them in calmly at home means the conversation in the room starts from a position of knowledge, not catch-up.
03
Day of · 60 minutes
Your consultation.
In person, at the clinic. We review your history, listen to what's changed and when, and examine where relevant. No rushing. By the end, you'll know what we're testing, why, and what the next step looks like.
04
Next day · pathology request
Baseline testing.
We order the hormone, thyroid, and metabolic panels appropriate to your presentation — usually via a local collection centre. Results come back to us directly, and we read the full panel, not just the headline numbers.
05
Within 7–10 days · by follow-up
Your protocol, explained.
A second conversation — in person or by telehealth — to walk through what the tests showed and the protocol we're recommending. Prescriptions go to our partner pharmacy; follow-up reviews are built into the plan from the start.
Before you arrive
Five small things worth bringing.
None of these are required — we can work from what you remember — but each one lets the hour go further. If any are hard to gather, we’ll help in the room.
- 01 · Your current medications list, including any supplements.
- 02 · Recent pathology or imaging results, if you have them.
- 03 · A rough timeline of when your symptoms first shifted.
- 04 · Any questions or concerns you'd like to raise.
- 05 · A support person, if you'd prefer to bring one.

If you're nervous
If you've been putting this off — we understand why. Most of the patients who walk through our door have tried the standard path and left feeling unheard or unfinished.
This room was designed specifically for the conversation that probably should have happened earlier: longer, thorough, curious, and yours to lead. There are no wrong answers in an intake form, no irrelevant symptoms, no such thing as too many questions.
Whenever you're ready to begin, we're ready to listen.
